Visit the historic homestead of the White Family for a tour and see the spectacular old village of this iconic Hunter home with 7,000 acres of Hunter River Frontage.  Includes lunch at the homestead, and tour of the Shearing Shed.

Belltrees, home of the White family since 1831 and one of Australia’s most famous rural properties. It is approximately 9000 ha (22,000 acres) in size and located along the Hunter River, upstream of Lake Glenbawn in the rich and fertile Upper Hunter Valley, New South Wales , Australia.

At the heart of the Belltrees property and the centre piece to the valley, stands proud, the main Belltrees Homestead (1908), in company with other fine buildings of the past; St James Chapel (1887), original colonial homestead (1836) (now museum), Trading Store (1837)(now office), Shearing Shed (circa 1880), Primary School, Country House and a selection of Cottages located along the Hunter River.

Spend a few hours in the Australian Countryside visiting a famous working property and inspecting the historic buildings. Marvel at the magic of Belltrees….a pleasant combination of family life, country-life style and Australia’s pioneering past, all working together.

Peter and Serena White bring a new perspective to Belltrees acting as your Day Tour co-hosts. A typical tour includes a welcome morning tea, a tour of the historic buildings located on Belltrees such as the Woolshed, the Post Office, the Chapel, the old stables and of course the magnificent Homestead. A simple but plentiful country-style lunch is served with a visit, after lunch, to the Belltrees museum.
