  Welcome to Queensland

Queensland, beautiful one day and perfect the next, is one of Australia's most popular tourism states. From the beautiful world heritage Great Barrier Reef, the whitsunday islands, the Undara Lava Tubes, Lawn Hill Gorge, Carnarvon Gorge and the unique Lamington National Park, this state has everything from beaches to rugged outback, and beautiful rainforests.

The theme parks of the Gold Coast, and Australian Outback Spectacular, are examples of some of the great tourism developments here, however the unique tourism experiences of places like the Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame, the Barcaldine Outback Worker's Heritage Centre, and the Normanton Gulflander Rail experience give you a unique opportunity to experience Australian culture.

Northern Highland Travel designs its tours to give you a leisurely paced tour, with the chance to see the must-see attractions included in your tour, rather than having to pay more at each stop. We are aware that many of our guests have already been to Cairns or other Queensland destinations on other tours, and so do not want to spend a long time there, however we want to ensure that guests who want to spend more time in Cairns or another city at the beginning or end of your tour are able to do so with some great value independent packages.

Below you will find some great packages and optional tours for Cairns and Brisbane. Quotes are approximate and may vary depending on seasonality and availability. Your travel consultant can help you to finalise any bookings.
